Marshall and Leigh have been married for 32 years and decided to start the farm a few years ago. We are learning as we go!
Rip "Take them to the train station"
Resident Stud
Rip is our house hippo. He stays under foot or right in the way all day long. Napping and not listening are his daily activities. we love the big lug!
Sadie, Rosie, and Moe
Livestock Guardian Dogs
Our livestock Guardian Dogs (LGD's) are all named after pirates to pay honor to their strength and fighting spirit. Sadie has been on the farm the longest with Rosie and Moe not far behind. They chase every type of animal out of the pasture, and bark at the mailman and occasional bird flying overhead. They keep the goats safe from everything but themselves (as goats are known to get stuck in kudzu vines and fences)
